5th Grade Moving Up Festivities

Dear Fifth Grade Families,

It’s hard to imagine, but before we know it, we will be celebrating our Fifth Graders moving up to middle school! Planning for the Moving Up Ceremony is underway. At the end of the year, each Fifth Grader will receive a gift to commemorate their time at GFS. We are also planning a fun afternoon in June for the Class of 2025 to celebrate with their classmates and teachers, during which they will also receive their yearbook.

Although our Fifth Grade fundraising efforts and support from the PTA cover some of the expenses for these memorable year-end events, we are asking for a suggested donation of $50 from each family to cover the remaining costs. Of course, each family may donate more or less at their discretion.
